Our collection of Studio pottery began when I married the brother of a fine potter - Jane 'Fan' Blackburne, who trained with some of the best - Chelsea, Seth Cardew at Wenford, the potters at La Borne.

Seeing exciting work in La Borne & meeting her very talented friends started a small collection which has grown into a large one. My thanks to Fan & to my long-suffering husband & young son.

The pots here are my personal collection. The Wenford Bridge & Winchcombe collections are treasured & include some fine Cardew pieces. There are exciting pots from the UK's best potters (see lists left & drop down menus above) & some less known overseas potters. Some pots may be purchased (separate For Sale site is being developed, please do enquire whilst I build the site) some I could never part with but you may enjoy looking at them. If you see a photo of a pot you would like more information about or more photos of, please email via contact details below (if you double click a gallery photo the title should tell you who the pot is by)
